Therapy for Children 11+ & Adults
I’m Tee — a warm and down-to-earth clinical therapist helping individuals navigate the heavy complexities of being human, particularly those experiencing major life transitions, identity shifts, or deep bereavement, grief and loss.
I am drawn to working with people healing from trauma, managing anxiety, or working through eating disorders, body perception challenges, substance use concerns, self-harm behaviors, and other maladaptive coping strategies. Ultimately, I love partnering with adolescents, adults, and folks within the LGBTQ+ community who are looking for an affirming, real, and highly collaborative space where they can use tools like DBT, ACT, and IFS to break free from cyclical self-doubt and reclaim their lives.
We will work hand in hand to rewrite your relationship with yourself, others, and the stories that hold you back. I will gently help you untangle intertwined thoughts, emotions, and identity to create a more compassionate, empowered relationship with yourself. Sessions should feel supportive and grounding—a space to speak freely, explore hard truths, and build confidence.

A typical session with me looks different depending on the client and their need in the moment as it is most important to me to meet them where they are at in the the present moment. I use the session to crease a space for clients to speak freely, explore hard truths, and slowly build confidence and clarity. Clients can expect each session to be paced at a speed that honors both the depth of the topic we are exploring and their emotional capacity at that moment. They can also expect both both skill and heart to be a part of the session, along with the use of creative tools to assist with self-exploration and expression.
-
Grounding, safe, and genuine.

Deciding to reach out and start therapy can feel incredibly scary and vulnerable, and it is completely normal to feel a wave of hesitation or fear before taking that first step. I want you to know that your courage in showing up is entirely worth it, and I am here to meet you with warmth, safety, and zero judgment exactly as you are. Together, we will walk at a pace that honors your emotional capacity, ensuring that you feel deeply seen, heard, and supported every step of the way. Reclaiming your story and your relationship with yourself is a journey worth feeling the fear for, and you do not have to walk it alone.

My ideal clients are individuals navigating the heavy complexities of being human, particularly those experiencing major life transitions, identity shifts, or deep bereavement and grief, especially in the non-traditional sense of grief that is included when any change is experienced. I love partnering with adolescents, adults, and folks within the LGBTQ+ community.

Therapy with Tee
My approach to therapy is fundamentally person-centered, holistic, and deeply collaborative. I treat each client as a whole person rather than just a set of symptoms or a diagnosis. My goal is to build a warm, down-to-earth, and safe alliance where a client's voice is fully honored and they feel genuinely seen and heard. Together, I work side-by-side with clients to untangle the complex narratives and cycles of self-doubt that impact their relationship with themselves, others, and the world. I understand that the pace of our sessions must always meet a client's unique emotional capacity and the depth of the topic that are being explored.
I specialize in DBT, ACT and IFS. I also draw from CBT, Polyvagal Therapy, Person-Centered (Client-Centered) Therapy, Human Givens Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented type of talk therapy that can help manage mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, and emotional concerns, such as coping with grief or stress.
-
Talk therapy adapted for people who experience emotions very intensely and have difficulty managing and regulating emotions.
-
A type of psychotherapy that helps you move beyond negative thoughts and feelings, by accepting that your thoughts and emotions are an appropriate response to certain situations.
-
Practices confronting the thoughts, images, objects, and situations that make you anxious and/or provoke obsessions, and making a choice not to do a compulsive behavior once the anxiety or obsessions have been “triggered.”
-
Frequently used as an evidence-based psychotherapy, helping people heal by accessing and healing their protective and wounded inner parts.
-
Helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find the internal motivation they need to change their behavior.
-
SFBT is future-focused, goal-directed, and focuses on solutions, rather than on the problems that brought clients to seek therapy.
