Work with Us
Padera Therapy and Wellness is a warm, progressive counseling practice serving clients throughout the western suburbs of Chicago. We are looking for thoughtful, dynamic clinicians who are passionate about their work and want to be part of a collaborative, supportive, and clinically engaged team.
Our practice is grounded in the belief that meaningful therapy attends to the whole person. Our clinicians draw from evidence-based, relational, somatic, and holistic approaches to help clients create meaningful and lasting change.
We care deeply about providing excellent clinical care—and we also believe therapists do their best work when they are supported as people. We strive to create a workplace that values autonomy, flexibility, professional growth, genuine connection, and sustainable work-life balance.
Licensed Clinical Therapist
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking licensed and provisionally licensed mental health professionals in Illinois, including LPCs, LCPCs, LSWs, LCSWs, LMFTs, PsyDs, and PhDs.
We are especially interested in clinicians who:
Are warm, curious, relational, and genuinely engaged in the therapeutic process
Are passionate about the field and committed to continued learning and professional growth
Value collaboration and enjoy being part of a connected clinical community
Practice from an affirming, inclusive, culturally responsive perspective
Bring creativity, initiative, and their own clinical interests to their work
Have an established area of specialization or are excited to develop a clinical niche
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience or interest in working with couples, children, and families, as well as clinicians with specialized training or expertise in areas such as trauma and EMDR, ERP, perinatal mental health, neurodiversity and ADHD, sex therapy, eating disorders and body image, or other focused areas of clinical practice.
What We Offer
At Padera Therapy and Wellness, clinicians can focus on the work they were trained to do: providing excellent therapy. Our administrative team supports the operational side of practice so clinicians are not left managing billing, insurance verification, marketing, and practice-building alone.
Benefits include:
W-2 employment
Competitive percentage-based compensation: 50% for provisionally licensed clinicians and 60% for fully licensed clinicians
Health, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield for eligible full-time employees
Short- and long-term disability coverage, including maternity leave benefits
SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with a 3% employer match
Paid time off
Consistent referral support and assistance building a caseload aligned with your clinical interests
Weekly or biweekly clinical supervision and consultation, depending on licensure and clinical needs
Dedicated administrative support for billing, insurance verification, scheduling support, and marketing
Comfortable, welcoming office space in Wheaton
A flexible, hybrid work environment
Opportunities for continuing education and professional development
Regular opportunities for team connection, consultation, and social gatherings
A leadership team that values clinician feedback, autonomy, and sustainable practice
Full-time clinicians maintain an average of 22 completed client sessions per week.
Why Padera Therapy and Wellness?
We want to be a place where excellent clinicians can build long-term, meaningful careers.
We are intentional about creating a culture that is warm without being performative, collaborative without being micromanaging, and professionally ambitious without glorifying burnout. Our team includes clinicians with diverse areas of expertise who value thoughtful consultation, curiosity, humor, and genuine connection.
We welcome clinicians who want to deepen an existing specialty, develop a niche, contribute ideas, and grow alongside a practice that cares deeply about both client care and clinician well-being.
