Pre-Licensed Social Worker & Certified Domestic Violence Professional

Rosangela Maldonado

MSW, CDVP

Every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.  My priority is to create a welcoming and professional relationship where you can talk about difficult situations, and create positive coping skills to overcome traumatic situations throughout your life. Using a client-centered, trauma-focused, and strength-based approach, we will create a relationship that focuses on your unique needs.

If you have experienced trauma or abuse, I would be honored to help you find your voice, reclaim your independence and process what you’ve been through.

As a Certified Domestic Violence Professional (CDVP), I understand the complicated emotions that stem from traumatic experiences. I have more than 10 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma through the courts system, and have been providing individual therapy and support groups for survivors for the past year through the WINGS domestic violence program.

I will use a combination of therapy modalities - including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and a culturally-informed approach - on your journey to healing.

I can provide therapy in English or Spanish.
