Social Worker & Certified Domestic Violence Professional

Rosangela Maldonado

MSW, CDVP
Therapy for ages 15+

Every person deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. My priority as a therapist is to create a welcoming, professional, and supportive relationship where your unique needs are at the center of our work together. I use a client-centered, trauma-focused, and strengths-based approach to help you find your voice, strengthen coping skills, and process life’s challenges in a safe, compassionate space.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, life stress, and the impact of trauma. My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and culturally informed care, always tailored to your goals and values. With over 10 years of experience supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma - including through the court system and in programs like WINGS - I bring both expertise and deep empathy to this work.

I also offer therapy in English and Spanish, creating space for clients to express themselves fully in the language where they feel most comfortable.

Sobre mí (About Me):
I enjoy going for walks, running 5K races, and watching police and crime documentaries. I also love spending time with my family, taking weekend trips to discover new places, and traveling and have been fortunate to visit Cuba and Puerto Rico.
