Social Worker & Certified Domestic Violence Professional

Rosangela Maldonado

MSW, CDVP

Every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity.  My priority is to create a welcoming and professional relationship using a client-centered, trauma-focused, and strength-based approach that focuses on your unique needs.

I enjoy working with teen and adult clients that are experiencing anxiety, depression and addiction, as well as general life stress or the impact of deep trauma. Together we can help you find your voice, improve your coping skills, better understand complicated emotions and process your experiences in life. We will use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and a culturally-informed approach on your journey to healing.

In addition, I have more than 10 years of experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma through the courts system, and have been providing individual therapy and support groups for survivors for the past year through the WINGS domestic violence program.
