Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Jenny Schermerhorn
MA, LCPC
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I enjoy working with individuals and couples across the lifespan. I am experienced in working with kids, teens, and adults and am passionate about helping my clients find relief, support, and healing through therapy. I have a warm and empathetic style and feel my strengths lie in helping clients gain a sense of hope and empowerment, as well as a greater understanding of themselves.
My therapy career has included time working in a variety of settings, including residential and intensive outpatient programs, community mental health organizations, and substance abuse treatment centers. As a result, I use an integrative approach with my clients, specifically pulling from client-centered and strengths-based approaches.
I love to incorporate DBT and CBT for more concrete strategies and tools as well. I also have training in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, EFT and Gottman for couples, and Exposure Response Prevention Therapy. I take an eclectic approach and honor your individuality, always tailoring treatment to my individual client’s needs and goals.

Give us a call or email scheduling@paderatherapy.com. We can often work with insurance companies if we are out-of-network. If we are an out-of-network provider or you do not have insurance, our rate is currently $135.00 for a 53 minute session. However, we also offer reduced rates in special circumstances.
