In-Person & Virtual Sessions
Therapy for teens 14+, Adults 18+
It's my goal to create a therapeutic environment that is honest, collaborative, and a judgment-free process. When clients are vulnerable and engage in self-reflection, a productive and warm therapeutic relationship can form. The opportunity to witness someone's personal breakthrough, revelation, and growth is truly special to me, as it means they feel safe and comfortable, and that they have found an inner strength they may not have known about.
I work with clients experiencing life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship changes, major milestones, and self-identity. I'm especially passionate about working emerging adults (ages 18-35) through life's complexities, and am LGBTQIA+-allied.
I will meet you with genuineness, acceptance, kindness, and empathy. To me, progress in therapy is only possible with a positive and collaborative approach. It's my belief that you have the strengths and ability within yourself to gain insight, grow, and develop resilience, and I want to collaborate with you to help you achieve your goals.

Often, sessions with me start with a check-in on how you're feeling coming into session, followed by a brief exploration of what you'd like to focus on throughout therapy. I find that as quickly as life can change, therapy should evolve at a similar pace.
-
Kind, genuine, and humorous.
-
I may not know you yet, but I care about you. Life is not meant to be spent alone, and therapy is a space to process life together. At your own pace, we can explore thoughts, feelings, and strategies to help you relieve stress, develop resilience, and learn about yourself.

I enjoy working with emerging adults through life's complexities. Whether it be life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship changes, major milestones, self-identity, or something else that could come up in life, I want to support you on your journey. I'm most passionate about working with emerging adults (ages 18-35) as this stage of life is so complicated. No two people are the same, and I find that to be most prominent in this stage of life. There is so much that humans experience throughout this span of life, and I want to help you navigate it to the best of my ability!

Therapy with Dane
In my therapeutic work, I focus on genuineness, acceptance, kindness, and empathy. To me, progress in therapy is only possible with a positive and collaborative approach. It's my belief that clients have the strengths and ability within themselves to gain insight, grow, and develop resilience, and I want to collaborate with clients to help them achieve their goals.
I integrate therapeutic approaches based in Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I find value in collaborating with clients from an authentic, accepting perspective to help clients foster self-awareness, achieve goals, and develop resilience. Whether it be a practical coping strategy or a change in perspective, mindfulness and acceptance also play important roles in personal growth.
Moreover, I use a strengths-based approach, as I believe individuals have the innate ability to change their lives for the better. It also means that you know yourself best, so I can learn from you, too. I want to help you become the best version of yourself!
